Re: Stereoscopic view with only one PiCamera?

Hopefully in a not so distant future we could try some little low poly demos with mixing our Raspberry Pi and HMDs. Thing is that recently a couple of guys from reddit/oculus have just started an attempt to develop an alternative DK2 SDK for linux. Even some guy from OpenHMD have showed up suggestin...

Re: Street Fighter 3 Alpha possible?

Thinking about SFA3 ... A few days ago Reicast (-at last- a propper Dreamcast emulator for android/arm) was released. It achieves very good performance for an alpha. Another great thing: it is opensource. Some guy from Pandora community (ptitSeb) has been fast on porting it: http://boards.openpandor...

Re: Agar - opensource GUI libs - (trying to build)

Uhmmm... Now, I've got it working almost perfectly but I do not know how to get back to console afterwards. It seems like the sdl framebuffer freezes when I try to finish the program. Based on "Hello world - one simple window" sample code (that can be found at libagar.org documentation section), I'm...

Re: Agar - opensource GUI libs - (trying to build)

Solved at last! Compiling from svn trunk I got an error about missing "db.h" at mysql_db.h, so the solution was as simple as moving into that file and replacing: #include <db.h> with #include <core/db.h> I wonder why that issue happened... That was the "make depend all" part, everything well fine af...

My bad. Once again I forgot to mention a (perhaps) relevant detail.

I get that error when I do

make depend all

I'll try sudo it, just in case...

EDIT: of course sudo don't do the miracle. Same :S

Hi, I'm using raspbian. I forgot to mention that important thing about ' non-window-based environments ' That's why i'm interested about it and I think it could be useful for some more people as well. I'm planning to make a "standalone" app, and after googling for a few long whiles I've thought that...

Agar - opensource GUI libs - (trying to build)

Hi everyone. As title says I'm trying to install Agar libs: Agar is a powerful open-source, cross-platform toolkit for graphical applications in C,C++ or Objective-C (bindings to Perl and Ada are also available). Designed for ease of integration, Agar follows the philosophy of building the GUI aroun...

Also, maybe not yet suitable for Rasberry Pi, but answering the topic: Ultrastar Deluxe is one great Singstar opensource clone. More or less it brings the same handicaps in case of dealing with porting the code PLUS bitchy microphone stuff. It could be a killer app for raspi to become a cheap powerf...

The pi can run up to late eighties games with some overclock and optimisation. It's not going to run Streetfighter. :) The Raspberry Pi already runs Neogeo games (gngeo emulator). I guess CPS3 emulation is out of reach for any upcoming MAME port, but I'm confident we will have it as soon as any bra...
