QT Creator and Tool Chains

I have just installed qt creator using the following command:
sudo apt-get qtcreator

It seems to have installed okay, problem is when I try to create a new project it fails saying "No valid QT version found."

And then points me to Build & Run

What do I need to put in there?

Re: Multiple sensor inputs

Daniel,
Thanks for the reply. So just to get straight in my own mind. Each device will/can have a different address, so as long as I know what device has what address I can send and receive input and output from that device.

How are these addresses created?

Re: Multiple sensor inputs

Thank you. Would I need to use an additional board like the Gertboard.

Re: Multiple sensor inputs

That's the problem, not sure what I want yet. I'm just looking for the general principle of how to have multiple sensor inputs.

Re: Multiple sensor inputs

Thank you for the reply. I'm thinking of producing a device which I can get multiple inputs like I described. At the touch of a button I can find out the temp, pressure maybe location, the amount of light. I assume that all the sensors will use the same GPIO ports, so how can you tell one sensor fro...

Multiple sensor inputs

I want to build a system which has multiple sensor inputs. Using such devices as the Adafruit Barometric Pressure Temperature Sensor and Digital Luminosity Sensor, along with some others which haven't been determined yet. The question is; how do I monitor all the different inputs from the Pi?

Re: Files from Windows discs to Pi

Thank you for that information. Most of the files are on external drives, which I was hoping to connect to the Pi.

Files from Windows discs to Pi

I have Inordinate number of windows files both in a directory structure and not. What is the best way of transferring them to a Pi. I would like to keep the directory structure if possible.
