Re: EMBIR-JX

Interesting project. I was looking for an IO board for home automation purposes. IC-JX is very interesting. I would like to interface the IC-JX with Arduino, is it difficult to port the code to Arduino?

Re: Power switch now available for Pi

I ordered a "mausberry" power switch August 30, 2013 and never received it. Mailed mister Mausberry a few times and no response at all ..., please be warned and don't send him your money like I did.

Re: [Tutorial] In-Car Raspberry with Wifi Access point - DWA

Tested my Ipad's 2.5 A adapter. Had a stable AP for a while, but was not able to obtain an IP address. Then I noticed that suddenly my wlan0 interface also dissapeared, coincidently at the same time as xbmc switched to dimming the screen. My problem looks like a power issue. I don't want to debug th...

Re: [Tutorial] In-Car Raspberry with Wifi Access point - DWA

Incredible. I repeated the exact same steps over and over again with 2 different wifi dongles (1 Realtek RTL8188CUS chipset and 1 Ralink RT5370 chipset). I use a 1A adapter to power the Pi. When using the wifi dongles to connect to my AP I have no problems at all and I get a stable connection. How d...

Re: [Tutorial] In-Car Raspberry with Wifi Access point - DWA

@stephanecodo I also want an in-car raspberry with a wifi AP -RTL8188. Just a connection between my phone or Ipad and the raspberry to control XBMC. I tried your tutorial but was not able to get the AP running. I got it running with a plain Raspbian image, but the combination with Raspbmc makes it t...

Re: wireless AP with hostapd and realtek chipset (works)

@simonx: how did you kill the wpa_supplicant process for good? I think I have the same problem. In raspbian I am able to use my wifi dongle as AP, but when using the Raspbmc image I can't get it working. The AP is there for a few seconds and then dissappears. Ifconfig shows no wlan0 at all in that c...
