Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

Glad it works. These Digole displays are amazing. I've the new true color one and is really cool. Check this one thread http://www.raspberrypi.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=6510&p=461311#p461311 I hooked it up with a couple of cheap HC-05 bluetooth modules (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1pcs-Ne...

Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

These are the 3 functions I used to display the IP, internal CPU temp and the clock. They should work with the other code but may need some "massaging" ------ char* print_addresses(const int domain) { int s; struct ifconf ifconf; struct ifreq ifr[50]; int ifs; int i; char buff[2056]; s = s...

Re: Windows CE

None of them as good as iGO, nor any of them has updated maps. 100% agree with this statement. WinCE on Pi will be nice, until that, this is the best I can do. http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/wince/WinCE_Rpi1.jpg http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/wince/WinCE_Rpi2.jpg Cheap Wince GPS always came with a ru...

Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

A little late reply but have you had a look at my code? const uint8_t batt2[]= { 0b00000000, 0b00000010, 0b00000000, // # 0b00000000, 0b00000100, 0b00000000, // # 0b00000000, 0b00011100, 0b00000000, // ### 0b00000000, 0b00111000, 0b00000000, // ### 0b00000000, 0b01111000, 0b00000000, // #### 0b00000...

Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

That's a lots of stuff :D I like the idea of the farad capacitor to keep it a little "alive" while swapping batteries. May add something like that to mine. I did test it with a 2400 ma battery and a cheap Chinese step-up from 3.3 to 5.0v but the rPi was not getting enough juice to power th...

Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

Good eye. Yep, it was my first encounter with Sugru. Not sure if I like it or not. I normally enclose everything in PlastiDip, it's really cool stuff, a lot more flexible than Sugru. I planning to add a 3-axis accelerometer to track lean angles, I may add a GPS but already have one GPS logger on the...

Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

I've put the code and a couple of videos here: http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/digole_test.c You will also need the i2c headers for dev: http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/i2c-dev-u.h And a couple of videos showing the thing running :D http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/digole_raspberrypi.MOV http:/...

Re: Digole 128x64 OLED Display

Let me clean my code (I'm also using a MCP23017 and a RTC clock on the I2C bus) and I will post it here, so you can access the display from the Pi.

It's not pretty but it does the job and it's quite basic because it uses the Digole "API" for most of the graph functions.

I got that one (In fact, I wrote that sample code :D ) I have used for an OBD project for my bike. http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/pi.jpg http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/batt.jpg http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/temp.jpg http://www.zen24223.zen.co.uk/obd/speed.jpg Didn't write a library for it,...
