From what i was aware you need an SD card to initially boot, otherwise you just get no output what so ever from the Pi and i don't think you can boot off of any other storage to begin with. It is the primary storage space but i've seen others attach USB drives to massively expand storage capacity. I...

After cancelling with RS after practically a month wait and them reporting i'd have to wait a couple of weeks longer i ordered with CPC Monday (25th) and received by Friday (29th), Super chuffed :mrgreen:
