Re: Velleman VM205 oscilloscope and logic analyser board

Hi, Velleman developed the scope software in Pascal. The software can be found here http://www.velleman.eu/downloads/files/downloads/vm205_src_pi_rev10.zip It's opensource and can be edited with Delpi, Lazarus or Turbo Pascal. I already changed the software a little (I added a 'Quit' button, because...

Re: Velleman VM205 oscilloscope and logic analyser board

Hi, I found this document on the vellaman website. Maybe it can help you find a solution for the SPI interface. http://www.velleman.eu/downloads/0/information/protocol_vm205.pdf "SPI interface setƫings Clock Polarity (CPOL) = 1 Clock Phase (CPHA) = 0 SPI chip select = enabled, active low SPI clock s...

Re: Velleman VM205 oscilloscope and logic analyser board

Hi Ritchie, today I installed NOOBS 1.4.1 on a 8GB SD card. I downloaded the software, unzipped it, made VM205 executable, 'et voila', I've got my scope running. The 555 timer (http://www.electroniq.net/555-timer-circuits/square-wave-generator-using-555-timer.html) is generating wonderful block form...

Re: Velleman VM205 oscilloscope and logic analyser board

Hi, I recently bought this oscilloscope. The manual and installation instructions are very poor. I can't get my scope running. I think it has to do with the SPI. At boot time I see spi2708 or something like that. I enabled it in raspi-conf. The software is written in freepascal. On git hub there is ...

Re: scavenged lcd display

Hi, I bought the same dashcam. Because the thingy has Analog TV out, I thought it would have some kind of controller hopefully in or added to the LCD housing. After removing and opening the device I discovered it does not have a controller or what so ever attached to the display and it is on the mai...

Re: /usr/bin/dpkg: Returns a Segmentation fault

Hi, I am new to Raspberry Pi (just 3 weeks in da house) and Raspbian Wheezy, but I am a little familiar to Linux (Ubuntu). I have tried to install a Wireless driver for rtl8188cus (ICIDU Nano USB Adapter Wireless 150N), conform a post, but now I ended up with dpkg complaining about a Segmentation f...

Re: /usr/bin/dpkg: Returns a Segmentation fault

The Debian repo's are not compatible with the Pi they are for a different arm processor and that's why Raspbian has it's own repo. The rtl8188cus should be supported according to the wiki so basically plug and play. If you don't have enough power going to the adapter it could be an issue. What othe...
