Re: TUTORIAL: Qt Crosscompile (Qt5.10.1)

Does dtoverlay i2c-rtc-gpio not do what you want?

Change i2C device for RTC dtoverlay

Hey all,
is it possible to specify a different I2C-device to be used by the rtc driver behind the corresponding dtoverlay?

I would like to use a software i2c controller via this dtoverlay.

Thanks!

Re: TUTORIAL: Qt Crosscompile (Qt5.10.1)

Ic...

framebuffer size, overscan and native resolution

Hi all, I am currently setting up a custom TFT display over DPI and have gotten the timings to work well so far. Now I am struggling to get the framebuffer size set correctly. The display I am using displays a resolution of 800x320 but the display controller takes a resolution of 800x480 and cuts of...

Re: TUTORIAL: Qt Crosscompile (Qt5.10.1)

What is the earliest point during boot to use i2c?

Question is pretty much in the title. I would like to issue a small set of commands during boot and would like to find out the earliest moment I can issue those. If there is a way to do so before the system is fully booted, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

What value are those parts?

Hello all, today, in an unexpected and completely unnecessary move, I used compressed air to blow off excess solder from soldering the GPIO pin header. In doing so I also blew off two passives on the board, without realizing it at first. They are long gone and I need to know their values to be able ...

Re: STICKY: HOWTO: Create Custom HDMI modes

hey dom I am posting here again, because I am not having much success with the display I am trying to drive. I'm pretty certain that the timings are not correct yet. Here is what is provided in the datasheet: Item MIN TYP MAX Unit –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– DCLK freque...

Re: STICKY: HOWTO: Create Custom HDMI modes

So far so good, the backlight switches on and it doesn't seem to fail right away. However, I am having some issues with displaying an image on the display. It always shows only the topmost line. My suspicion is that the pixel clock frequency is too high for the display. The datasheet specifies 9Mhz...

Re: STICKY: HOWTO: Create Custom HDMI modes

I am trying to drive a non-standard display through the HDMI port of a Raspberry 3+. The display resolution is 480*272 and it is a RGB666 (18bit) display. I have it hooked up to a TI TFP401 (on a modified Adafruit breakout, as the pinout doesn't match my display) So far so good, the backlight switch...

without trying your suggestion I was able to resolve the issue by reflashing raspbian. I do wonder what went wrong, though! Thanks for the help anyway.

seeing as you have access via a wired connection run

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config
under localisation options select change wifi country and reboot, that should enable you wifi.
I tried that, unfortunately it didn't help :(

RPi 3 B+ Wifi not working

Hey all, I am trying to set up a headless pi. It downloaded and flashed raspbian stretch today. After adding a wpa_supplicant.conf in /boot the unit didn't connect to the network. I was able to activate ssh though and am now connected via ethernet. iwlist wlan0 scan returns: wlan0 Failed to read sca...

Just to give a headsup for anyone searching the forums: I am now running the following setup: Debian Wheezy hard-float with mopidy installed. It is controllable via one of many mpd control clients. I use MPDroid on my Android smartphone and GMPC on my Windows laptop. Mopidy is actively being develop...

I would love to watch your video but unfortunately it is not viewable by residents of Germany. This is due to GEMA, you can look that up if you want..
Could you host it somewhere else, too? Vimeo perhaps?

Cheers!

Stream Audio to RPi over LAN, Multiplatform

Hello Guys and Gals, I received my RPi and periphery today and am very happy to be able to test a little stuff already :) My ultimate goal is to use the Pi as an audio-proxy on my Hifi.
