Figured it out. Turns out my sd-card wasn't pre-loaded with an OS. Once I installed that, it worked like a charm!

I just received the raspberry pi today, put in the SD card, attached the microusb cable, and attached the HDMI cable to my TV. I see the Red "power led" turn on, but no video. I then tried to attach the analog video to the TV, and still nothing. I'm not really sure where to start in terms of trouble...
