Re: using pi as webserver

- Install vsftpd on pi using "sudo-apt get install vsftpd" - Follow the instructions during installation. - Edit "vsftpd.conf" in /etc to not allow anonymous login (you can do it I guess, but I'm paranoid) - Edit "vsftpd.conf" to enable local users to login - Install WINSCP on windows. Use the ftp p...

Re: PWM for servos, motors, and LEDs plus plus

Hi Joan, I really want to try out your library, would you mind posting perhaps more usage examples in code for noobs? for example, how would I go about setting a pwm pulse of 1500 microseconds across a signal repeating at 50hz? I cant figure out the usage details of pigs, and 'pigs help' doesnt make...

Re: Home Robot controlled with Rpi over Internet

Hi there, So to confirm: you want to measure temperatures and update them on a webpage every 1 second? You need to create an applet, maybe in java or something, because short of pressing refresh every 1 second, I'm not sure if HTML code provides a way of updating live information. I could be wrong; ...

Re: Home Robot controlled with Rpi over Internet

A H bridge looks like this: http://www.markallen.com/teaching/images/electronics/hb...

Re: UPnP / DLNA music playing with gmrender

Hi, firstly, thanks for the awesome tutorial Stephen! Everything is working well when I followed your instructions...but the one place where u didn't give instructions was on installing the bubbleupnp software on the Pi! The pi is my first time using any linux/unix system, and following the instruct...
