Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Bluetooth Setup

just realised I did not reply here after I resolved my issue - I had been swapping sd cards around my raspberry pis (raspberries pi?) and had an sd card with the older image in my raspberry pi 3, so it was running raspbian weezy rather than jessie.

Re: Anything special required to enable new camera on new ze

Good luck! We need an update of MotionEyeOS in order for it to work on the new Zero. I am going to try Rasbian with just MotionEye installed on it while I wait for that.

Re: Anything special required to enable new camera on new ze

I'm just going to apt-get update & upgrade & dist-upgrade see if that helps, and then try swapping the v2 camera for an older one. I expect you'll be reporting back here soon to say that did the trick - newer firmware is required to let the blob know that the Zero is camera-capable, & on which GPIO...

Anything special required to enable new camera on new zero?

Just got the new pi zero and the v2 camera. First tried MotionEyeOS like I have on my other pi's and while it installs ok it doesn't recognise the camera. Fair enough the hardware is new and the MotionEyeOS developer doesn't have a zero to debug. So then swapped the sd card out of my other pizero* (...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Bluetooth Setup

I thought I was on a brand new build from noobs but maybe I swapped back to an older wheezy image, will try again from scratch By rights I should be too embarrassed to report back on what my issue was. I had taken the sd card out of my pi 3 to try something in the old pi 2 and forgotten about it :o...

GPIO power question (UBEC)

Possibly a slightly dumb question. On my raspberry pi v2 are the two 5v power GPIO pins that are next to each other the same? I have a UBEC with a connecter that connect to the 5V and ground that are right next to each other (so pins 4 and 6 on http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/raspberry-pi-gpio-pinout)...

Re: FM Transmitter dongle + software for your Pi :)

I don't use mpg123 but I understand you need the -a option to output to a different audio device. The B-Link should be assigned to card1 so you will need something like: mpg123 -a hw:1,0 myfile.mp3 Perfectamundo, thanks a lot for your help. I'm building a music player for my car, I will report back...
