Re: GET$ not waiting

This is all new to me... but is this PowerBasic?

Have you tried an alternative way to wait for a keypress? such as:

Code: Select all

a$ = WAITKEY$
I wonder if the GET$ is aimed more at file reading and may be behaving strangely...

Re: questions about programming on rpi

Is running over NetaTalk/SMB an option?
  • Set up RPI with NetaTalk/SMB
Connect from remote machine and edit via SublimeText or other tool or even a full blown Win/OSX IDE.
I do it this way since working directly on the Pi, is a pain for larger projects.

Re: Controlling portable RPi wirelessly from Android phone

  • 1. Set up your PI using: pybluez
    2. Write some code
    3. Install BlueTerm on Phone
Enjoy :)

Might find this a useful starting point?

Re: Powered USB Hub on boot up=frozen//wifi issue

Not had much experience with this sort of issue but wonder if its a power supply 'quality' issue?

Cheaper hubs probably don't regulate/filter/stabilize very well? Might just be a case of getting a different one...

Hope you sort it!

Re: Switching automatically between multiple video streams

Hi A quick look at 'man mplayer' mentions playlists and looping but don't have time to play - sorry. Not sure if the loop can be applied to the whole playlist but you should check that out. Failing that - I just knocked this together which seems to work... yes, it's pretty poop but demonstrates it c...

Re: Reset button - RasPi 2 rev 1

Hi, I am sure this has been covered before. I would ask, wether you wanted to make something from scratch? Or are happy to use an existing product/solution. http://mausberrycircuits.com/ Do some reset/power buttons but as mentioned - they tend to be upwards of $15/£9 (Which for me, is not that terri...
