Re: gpiozero unable to parse the Pi revision

Actually I might have it working. I havent upgraded to Jessie though which I need to for the sudo-less support. If I have further issues I will get back to this post.

Re: gpiozero unable to parse the Pi revision

I have a similar problem. I tried the last fix but I assume that the slight difference with my revision number ending in 3 vice e is why it didn't work for me? Ideas? Actual error is at the bottom. processor : 0 model name : ARMv6-compatible processor rev 7 (v6l) Features : swp half thumb fastmult v...

Re: RetroPie Every Emulator has no sound

Thanks Neil. I tried that but it didnt help. However whilst doing that and the various reboots I noticed the sound worked once. Then I noticed that it worked in PORTS and PLAYSTATION. Watching closely I saw a quick flash before the game started of HDMI CEA Mode 4. A bit of goggling and I uncommented...

Re: RetroPie Every Emulator has no sound

Can I add to this thread as I have the same problem. Sound works fine from the command line using aplay. I can play the demo .wav files in /usr/share/sounds/alsa However in emulation station and the two emulators I am currently using (megadrive and SNES) there is no sound. I have tried changing the ...

Re: My Simple Multi Room Audio Project

Can you let me know more about how you have DAB working? I am thinking of trying to get this working in my car but would like to know what USB receiver you are using and what you had to do to set it up and how it presents itself in YATSE?

Re: Combo XBMC file server?

Except that is getting complex isn't it? The wired and wireless networks will have to be on different subnets and then set up routing between them? What does the wired network do for me? Speed? The wireless will be N and all next to each other so should get max possible?

Re: Combo XBMC file server?

Yes it is an option. I do have an 8 port switch lying in a box but I thought the wireless might be useful as I can also have things like tablets join it and also the XBMC PIs will have access to the internet? Why that is important I am not sure but I am thinking of just building the most capability ...

Combo XBMC file server?

Hi PI gurus, I am thinking of setting up a network in my car for the kids to watch TV shows on during long trips. My general idea is to have the media on a single USB HDD and have XBMC on a couple of PIs. Specifically, I am thinking of using my mobile phone as a wifi hotspot to setup the network tha...
