Re: WLAN disappears after some time

Yeah I added that file, USB power shouldn't be the issue, as I'm powering the dongle with my lap lab PSU, the dongle only draws 60~70mA at any time, but my supply can supply 5.1A (I have it set at 500mA tho)

Re: WLAN disappears after some time

So I still have this issue. Tried splicing a usb extender, and I'm now powering the edimax with a lab PSU, so there's plenty of power, however the problem still persists. disabling power_mgnt didn't work either. Pinging the pi 192.168.1.15 from windows returns reply from 192.168.1.76: Not available ...

Re: Cant connect to the pi, before I've pinged my pc from th

Only thing I can think of is that I've set the multicast rate on our access point to CCK 1 (1 Mbps) as we were having issues with bonjour printers not working on our network (why is it that multicast doesn't send ACK packages?) As for firewall, let me look around for a moment for anything I might de...

Cant connect to the pi, before I've pinged my pc from the Pi

So as the title says, I'm having issues connecting to my pi. From what I have found online, it's an issue with ARP tables, and true, when I just boot the Pi, and run arp, there's no listing for my PC. Okay so a little bullet list, to help me list out what I knwo :) I'm running octopi a webinterface ...

Detecting a usb flashdrive, and calling a mount -a

Hi, I'm working on a project that includes a raspberry pi running MPD and MPC It's gonna have a physical button interface, and some sort of LCD.
