Re: Raspberry Pi Zero audio outputs

If I only want mono output, can I just do the top part of that circuit ? https://learn.adafruit.com/system/assets/assets/000/028/754/medium800/raspberry_pi_audiofilter.png?1448516534 i.e. 2 resistors and 2 caps ? Sure, they are independent. But if you have a stereo source you should mix it (somehow...

Could you set the emulator to say 4x Amiga mode (320x256) scaling to 1280x1024 with the rest of a 1920x1080 screen as black border???

Re: Overclocking the pizero

Thanks.. did you post on wrong thread though? This is about OCing the Pi Zero not what you can use them for? ;) No, thought I was saying it is pointless, get a pi2 or 3 if the zero is not fast enough, well I thought I was saying that and offered a solution. Yes but Pi Zero form factor is going to f...

Re: Overclocking the pizero

Anyone have any details on pizero overclocking? I have been messing with RT_PREEMPT on the pizero with jessie and found the Xorg server seemed very sluggish when dragging windows and strange taskbar cpu load figures, e.g. mouse movements causing jumps to 12-20% for 0% when X is idle (nothing but de...

Or the guy who forked it could submit code to the original repo and allow the fork to die off... I'm not a huge fan of forking projects.. Wasn't it Monty Python who coined the phrase "splitters" ??

Re: RetroPie / Rasplex Dual-Boot Image

You can update both RetroPie and Rasplex parts of this image from within each "OS".

I am now wondering IF it would be better of the RetroPie side of this image was built from DietPi+RetroPie rather than the default Raspbian+RetroPie.. it should be smaller and faster loading

Re: Adding a custom OS to Noobs

I see lots of positives to Berryboot especially since it is CEC compatible so you could reboot and change images with TV control. Useful for booting from Kodi or Rasplex to RetroPie or whatever. Did the poster find an answer? Since DietPi is a Raspbian image I see no reason why it could not be made ...

Gargh! I wanted Kodi & RetroPie!!! Kodi is now done, it will be available in the next release (v95). Retropie, will try and get that tested today. If I autoboot to Kodi and add menu options to jump out to LXDE, RetroPie or LXDE (and back), will that work or would it be better to boot to Retro...

Don't have access to my Pis right now to try myself so I wonder if anyone has compared the performance (ram usage etc) of DietPi RetroPie install vs the "official" RetroPie images?
