Re: Best Place To Buy a PI in USA 2013?

These are the only official distributors. If you get them from anywhere else they were bought by one of these and resold.. usually a package deal with other cheap items to pad the cost. http://www.newark.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp -or- http://www.alliedelec.com/lp/120626raso/ -or- EU only http://uk....

Re: Remote access

You could use log me in to get to another machine on your network, and then ssh into the pi from that machine via putty.

Re: RetroPie Project SD-Card Image

I just came across this thread, so i have not had a chance to look at the image, but does the image come with games "pre-installed" or will I have to hunt and download the 'roms' myself?

thanks

Re: FM Transmitter dongle + software for your Pi :)

When I mentioned apt-get install,

I was referring to update, upgrade and libusb-dev

At first I was running Weezy and was running into dependancy issues with XBMC , So i figured raspbmc would be easier.

Re: FM Transmitter dongle + software for your Pi :)

I can't seem to get this to work on raspbmc. I just get errors when trying to apt-get all of the things.

Should I be using different commands?

Buttons to control Raspbmc

Hi, I recently installed Raspbmc, I was curious if there were any resources on how to set up some buttons via gpio such as next, prev, play, stop to control the tunes.

Thanks!
