I'm unsure if this is a "bug", but there does not seem to be a way to open The MagPi issues after "purchasing"/downloading. The green Launch button pops up a screen with "App Loading" but then nothing happens. What am I missing? :?: I believe you need to install xpdf. (probably sudo apt-get install...

Thank you. I didn't think to check for a package named 'python-pyodbc'. I have a database wrapper module that depends on pyodbc so I wanted to start with that. I've played with SQLAlchemy before and will again at some point.

I noticed that this module is not available by default on Raspbian. Before I go through the effort of figuring out how to get it installed and working I figured it would be a smart idea to ask a question. What is the recommended path to take to do database programming in Python on the Raspberry Pi? ...

I'm looking more for a complete touch-enabled screen that I can strap a Pi to.  A 5 or 7 inch screen would be fine.  Trouble I'm having is that the screens often cost as much as a full device with a screen would cost, which isn't very helpful.

I've been looking all over for a while trying to find a reasonably priced small touchscreen for use with the Raspberry Pi without  much luck.  Does anyone know of one that should be compatible with the Pi (maybe with Debian)?
