Re: Multiple serial/USB adaptor inputs

It turns out I had two programs trying to access ttyUSB0. I plugged one into the hub and changed the access from the perl script to ttyUSB1 and now everything is running as expected. Thanks for the input!

Re: Multiple serial/USB adaptor inputs

Thanks for the reply. The RPi has its own power supply. The USB hub has its own power supply. My first 2 USB inputs (#1 and #2) can be plugged into the hub and everything works fine. If I plug the serial/USB adapter from the ZBPLM into the open USB port on the RPi, it breaks the first 2 inputs. I do...

Multiple serial/USB adaptor inputs

Newbie here (please be gentle). I currently have my RPi reading data via USB from 1) ambient weather ws-2080 and 2) CurrentCost Envi-R. I am using pywws for the weather station and a perl script to read the data from the CurrentCost and uploading to cosm. That all is working great. I would like to a...

Re: Measuring home power consumption using Pi

Here is another thread on that topic with the CurrentCost
http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 00#p293000

I use the Raspberry Pi with my currentcost to upload to cosm via a perl script. It's been working flawlessly for 2 weeks now.

Re: Perl script to access CurrentCost Envi

User ghubsch (who originally wrote the envi.pl script) helped me fix the script for my 3 transmitter CurrentCost Envi system. I am attaching the script for others that might also want to monitor more than 1 power channel. It is working famously with Cosm and pvoutput. Be sure to enter your API and f...

Re: Perl script to access CurrentCost Envi

Hello, I hope someone can help. I am trying to get this perl script to run with my Raspberry Pi and my CurrentCost monitor to upload to Cosm. The script seems to run fine and I even checked in minterm to confirm that the CurrentCost is outputting goobleygook (XML). However, the Cosm feed never gets ...
