I wonder if its not the installer changing the card in such a way that when i try to write the openelec .img (after restoring the card size amd formatting) theres something not right. Yeah, i used the raspbmc installer function to "make card formattable"or whatever ( makes it so the full space of the card shows in windows for formatting) and then formatted it in windows.
