Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?
I only got this board within the past few months and must've gotten a v1.0 board... Kept coming back here to see if there were any answers but now I see there's a v1.1 and no real information on a way to get this functionality without buying a whole new screen? Wonder if I can get in touch with the ...

Much appreciated, It will probably be all nonsense to me, but it's a starting point.topguy wrote:Its the first link you get if you google "ATQA".ironicdemise wrote:Mind me asking where you got the nxp docs?

Re: RFID issues.
Hmm, I will look into it, I'm pretty new to messing with RFID and I just don't understand why the reader hits roadblocks with some cards and not others, I was starting to wonder if there was a problem with my versions of mfcuk/libnfc.
Mind me asking where you got the nxp docs?

ATQA (SENS_RES): 0f 01
SAK (SEL_RES): 01
Hopefully that's of some help.

RFID issues.
I've got a RFID reader from Adafruit. When I poll a card I have it comes up with most things fine, ISO/IEC 14443A (106 kbps) target: ATQA (SENS_RES): xx xx UID (NFCID1): xx xx xx xx SAK (SEL_RES): xx However when I use mfoc to try and brute force the keys it shoots up an error saying only mifare cla...

NFC software for python?
I'm just trying to read/write the mifare classic 1k that came with the reader, and eventually clone it and have the pn532 emulate it. I think nfcpy is supposed to be the "best" route? Worth noting is that nfc commands from libnfc usually don't work unless I set LIBNFC_LOG_LEVEL=3 before th...

Re: RFID hardware questions.
I've noticed a lot of 13.56MHz 14443 r/w and chips
... Anything lower is always write once, read many and any higher is usually high power chips.

Re: hdmi versus dvi
If you used an adapter or a hdmi-dvi cable, there shouldn't be a problem. I would suggest shutting down the Pi properly then attaching the hdmi-dvi cable to the pi and monitor and turn it on again to see what happens. I think it would be more useful if you were clearer what you were trying to do, fo...

Re: Getting an adafruit rfid board working.
Thanks for the info, I'd figure I won't really understand it unless I grab it and a couple bits and bobs and have a play, but yes, I'll be careful not to fry the pi.

Re: Getting an adafruit rfid board working.
looking at http://learn.adafruit.com/assets/1533 there's a 5v, but there's nothing to suggest it's getting reduced enough to 3.3v to avoid damaging the pi, I don't understand that circuit at all.

Re: Getting an adafruit rfid board working.
So, by reading a bit about tty wires? I should be able to wire it up without having to perform a circuit on a breadboard? I figure I will try it without the breadboard, then if I need to add a breadboard I will just add it into the breadboard? However I'm looking for a case for the pi, is there anyw...

Getting an adafruit rfid board working.
http://www.adafruit.com/products/364 http://adafruit.com/products/914 I want to know what other components I would need to get the above product working? I haven't done anything with Raspberry Pi's GPIO and as such don't really know much about it other than what I have read. I'm also not very exper...

Will a PN532 RFID breakout work with a PI easily?
http://www.adafruit.com/products/364 http://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-nfc-rfid-on-raspberry-pi/overview I'm interested in RFID, just for learning. I don't know much about the Pi and the GPIO, Obviously, I do as much reading as I can on my own but I have zero experience. I don't know much about co...
