Re: i2c not working with the GPIO pin 2 and 3

I am using Pi 3 B+ compute module Ah, this is important information! Unlike a standard Pi, the Compute Modules don't have the 1K8 pull-up resistors for i2c1 fitted as standard. Using the internal weak (50K) pull-ups won't be sufficient. You would have to add them to your CM carrier board (I haven't...

Re: i2c not working with the GPIO pin 2 and 3

It looks like there is something wrong with your Pi. With nothing connected to the GPIO pins, i2cdetect -y 1 should show just a set of "--"s. Showing all numbers sounds like the SDA pin is shorted to ground, but it is odd that it seems to stop when your device is connected. I strongly dou...

You could try using I2C-3 on the same two pins:

Code: Select all

#dtparam=i2c_arm=on
dtoverlay=i2c3,pins_2_3
Assuming it's a Pi4
This is not working...It is showing only one i2c bus and I am using Pi 3 B+ compute module

Look level showing 0 in gpio pin 2

Re: ssh client application not working with Raspberry Pi 3

I'm pretty sure ssh works fine on the Pi 3. Assuming you are using Raspbian Jessie. It works fine for me and I'm sure we would have heard lot's of complaints from others already if there was a problem with it. Suggest getting a non-broken ssh client. Better than downgrading security on your Pi. Put...

Re: GUI Application Using "sudo" From Tightvncviewer

I want to access GPIO pins UART, PWM, i2c and two other GPIO pins. I am developing a daemon service to access this pins.

I am using WiringPi to access PWM and another libraries are using to access other pins.

When I debug my application I am getting permission error.

Re: Create a new I2C in raspberry Pi using normal GPIO pins

Thanks to your reply.
I don't understand it clearly about the I2C in parallel port. It is complicated to use the I2C of camera module. Is there any future issue to use only two(CLOCK, DATA) GPIO pin for I2C communication in Raspberry Pi.
