The recommandation is to use some other domain name for DNS, eg .lan
But the AD domain is mydomain.local, so can I change mDNS settings?

Re: Alternatives or replacements for camera flex cable?

Waking up an old thread. I need the camera to me outside and the Pi to be on the inside. One solution is if the cable between the camera to be like this one mentioned earlier: http://www.mouser.se/ProductDetail/3M/3659-09-CUT-LENGTH/?qs=dMyV3I0KP7MuX80Nr3uOyA%3d%3d&gclid=CJeO3qX2978CFSMLMgods1sAbA B...

Wifi wont work unless network cabe is in

I have a strange problem here , the Wifi dingle only works as long there is a cable in the eth0 interface.
If I remove the cable it does not get connected at all.

Anyone seen this behaivor before?

It starts up a java application server and when I look ps -e there is no java process.
A make a reboot every time i change to be on the safe side :)

I'm going to make a new copy and start from the beginning to see if anything that I have tried is messing this up

Re: Run a .sh script as a daemon?

I have put this line in the rc.local:

Code: Select all

/opt/openhab/./service.sh
But it doesn't start anyway.
The service.sh file contains paths complete from / and it works if I run it from the command line

Re: Owfs (1-wire) installation/compiling instructions needed

I have installed the package but Something is not working.
I can access the webservice from a client (port 2121) and Everything shows up as it should.
But when i tries to communicate with the owserver (on port 4304) I get Connection refused on the client

Anyone knows how to fix this?
