testing the buffer in dmesg

Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB RAM 128GB A2 Ubuntu 20.04 Official dmesg is constantly spewing "testing the buffer" and I have no idea why. Any ideas? Re: Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal Fossa)

Just doesnt work because Ubuntu + Pi + Wifi NEVER EVER WORKS RIGHT.
I can SSH in to the pi just fine and wifi is enabled (on 2.4 not 5Gz.. that never works either).
But the desktop environment thinks there is no network connection.

I mean... does anyone even TEST these official releases?

Changing Font Color of Clock

Hello, I am currently running the full desktop version of the latest Raspbian. When I use a black transparent bar I can not see the time because the font is black. I can not find any place to change that. Under Panel Settings -> Font - > Custom Color I set it to White but its not changing the time t...

Thanks for the feedback everyone:

In the Q/A for this product someone says they are running 4 PIs no problem so maybe this would be better for me.

Power multiple Raspberry Pi 4 B

Hi, Is there any hub out there that can power up to 8 Raspberry Pi 4 B boards? I guess each port has to output 3A? I cant find anything that even comes close. Anyone else doing this? This one is 10 port and seems to do 2.4A each but not sure if thats enough? I do not plan on using any peripherals, b...

Download the client and you have the client's C source code plus the artwork. http://the-green-leaf.de/tgatb.html Which is the stuff which needs the most work, i think. i'm going to release the map editor and server later, need to clean up some stuff and write a few README.TXT to make it finally us...

Re: R-Pi MMORPG Community Project (UNDERWAY/NEEDS MORE HELP)

Very cool idea. I suggest just using normal machines for the servers and keeping the Pi for clients. Why bottleneck yourself? Also, keeping it WoW style is a good idea as it would please the majority I think. I could maybe provide some free hosting solutions but would need requirements of course. Ca...

Sorry, I really hate documentation so tend to leave it for others having given as much info as possible on the forum threads. Not the greatest situation, but it seemed the best use of my time. annotateex was covered in https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=97929&p=702712#p702710 W...
