Re: Power multiple Raspberry Pi 4 B

Thanks for the feedback everyone:

In the Q/A for this product someone says they are running 4 PIs no problem so maybe this would be better for me.

P.S. a hub is a hub.

Power multiple Raspberry Pi 4 B

Hi, Is there any hub out there that can power up to 8 Raspberry Pi 4 B boards? I guess each port has to output 3A? I cant find anything that even comes close. Anyone else doing this? This one is 10 port and seems to do 2.4A each but not sure if thats enough? I do not plan on using any peripherals, b...

Re: Create a MMORPG running on a raspi

Download the client and you have the client's C source code plus the artwork. http://the-green-leaf.de/tgatb.html Which is the stuff which needs the most work, i think. i'm going to release the map editor and server later, need to clean up some stuff and write a few README.TXT to make it finally us...

Re: Cannot unzip Raspian Jessie download

Im on MAC and it unzipps to a .cpgz file. In my 20 years as a systems engineer I've never seen this file extension once.

>> It's a special zip format, for files over 4 GB which for some reason isn't supported by the built in Windows and Mac utilities.

If you can get the WoM guys to try to make an armv7 version of this game, you'll have what you want :) http://worldofmidgard.com/womforum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=13933 This games works pretty good on: iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux (x86) and its all the same on all platforms. Re: R-Pi MMORPG Community Project (UNDERWAY/NEEDS MORE HELP)

Very cool idea. I suggest just using normal machines for the servers and keeping the Pi for clients. Why bottleneck yourself? Also, keeping it WoW style is a good idea as it would please the majority I think. I could maybe provide some free hosting solutions but would need requirements of course. Ca...

Re: raspistill annotate date

Sorry, I really hate documentation so tend to leave it for others having given as much info as possible on the forum threads. Not the greatest situation, but it seemed the best use of my time. annotateex was covered in https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=97929&p=702712#p702710 W...

I know some kind of zoom is possible because when I use raspistill the preview shows the images zoomed in and then for a second shows it zoomed out.

any ideas?

for i in (1..48); do raspivid -w 640 -h 480 -fps 30 -t 1800000 -o /root/video.$i.h264; done;

will record 30 minute videos for 1 day
