If your WordPress settings are just a bit off it will do the same thing. WordPress Address (URL) http://rich1.dyndns.tv/wordpress Site Address (URL) http://rich1.dyndns.tv I am using DynDns.org as a Domain Name Server. My suspicion is that you need to change the WordPress Address (URL). it is not fi...

Re: Guide to installing WordPress

Did you open port 80 in your router?
it looks like that is what is causing this.

Or the settings in WordPress are just not quite right yet. make sure you open port 80.

Re: Guide to installing WordPress

It is the instructions that are too old. They were written in Dec 2013. There are many places to get tutorials from now. And they will have newer information than my old instructions have. https://www.raspberrypi.org/learning/lamp-web-server-with-wordpress/ https://www.htpcguides.com/install-wordpre...

I have a similar keyboard also!

I was making an A+ to fit into a power Wallet but got side tracked. Kind of waiting for the A3B to come out!

Re: Ditch the locking micro-SD slot and go for a regular one

On thingiverse there are some micro-sd card extenders for 3D printers. The printrbots have a uSD that is hard to get in and out. They work pretty well, clamp onto the card.

Re: 3D Printer

Some considerations you should have before buying. Actual print size. Ratings from users or builders. Your technical ability. The table size does not equal the print size. Very discouraging to find that what you want to print is too big for your printer! You can save yourself a lot of heartache/wast...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

I put a case on my RasPi/Lapdock 4G; http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:604915 I printed it out in Ruby Red filament. I had been using this as an Octopi server for my 3D Printer. I am using a Tablet (modified to be a print center(see on my web site)) to run the printer now. I had to use some side cutt...

Re: Raspberry 2 wordpress server

Installing WP Fast Cache or Total Cache plugin in WordPress will improve your page load speeds. Installing one of the minimizing plugins helps too. Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

I guess I have been lucky. I have not had a problem with the HDMI cables. I bought a really cheap adapter and it worked fine. The only problem I have had is sound. Usually fixed by hdmi_drive=2. I did not run into problems with NOOBS. I did all the setup on another RasPi and then imaged it to the Pi...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

No, the sound will work. The setting to get sound is in /boot/config.txt. sudo nano /boot/config.txt You just have to remove the hash from in front. That usually gets the sound working on the Lapdock. Just read the remarks in the file until you find it. hdmi_drive=2 A couple more settings there are...

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Your site does not have the links either. Might be better to put them there so people can see your earlier projects for reference! And no PIP1? LOL I have a 3D printer so I may be able to make a box easier to fit components into. But tackling the HDMI does not look like any fun. The rest is not too ...

Re: Motorola Lapdock 100 burned out by RPi 2

Hopefully she will be able to find the burned component. One of the regs most likely. That is an older article. It does not include any of the "+" boards. Plus boards have a protection circuit to prevent back-powering. I was able to back-power earlier boards. My Lapdock cable comes from the flip up ...

Re: Motorola Lapdock 100 burned out by RPi 2

The Raspberry Pi 2B is protected from "back-powering". It cannot have drawn any current from the Lapdock at all. The USB port in the flip up connectors was designed to power the phone that the Lapdock was made for. You used the USB on the back of the Lapdock. If I am reading your post right. Those p...

Re: Octopi with Cura plugin on Pi2

Yeah the vibration is what you want to dampen. But if the whole printer is dancing that will cause all kinds of weird problems. Cura the program or CuraEngine for Octopi? CuraEngine is in the latest builds of Octopi. It will allow you to drag and drop a .stl file onto the octopi page, then it will s...

The LM2596 is the same answer for you. http://www.amazon.com/RioRand-LM2596-Converter-1-23V-30V-1Pcs-LM2596/dp/B008BHAOQO can handle up to 40V in and 35V out at up to 3A. They are not too expensive. It is adjustable for voltage which is nice. I do not see the power light on the RasPi flickering any ...

Re: Octopi with Cura plugin on Pi2

Today I added an LM2596 inside the Play case. I connected it into the Printrboard power connector. I cut off the end of a 12" Micro USB cable and soldered that into the other side of the LM2596. The board is stuck inside the case with 3M "20lb" double sided foam tape. I used a multi-meter to set it ...

Re: Brush-less motor control with Raspberry pi

There are different "beeps" that an ESC will make. If you hear beeps that have a delay between, it is probably announcing what it's options are set at. This will be something like two beeps followed by three beeps, followed by one beep for example. This is telling you the tuning, brake, cutoff type,...

Now, AIUI, the PRUs in the beaglebone black are entirely decoupled, hard-realtime subsystems. The cores on the Pi2, even if you manage to is...
