Re: Setting up a Nginx server using xxx.asuscomm.com

Nigel, Thanks very much for your input. I've been away for a few days and haven't had the time to do any further trouble shooting. I will get back to it over the weekend and report back. Btw...as a Nigel did you attend this gathering.. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/nigels-nigelness-guinne...

Re: Config SSH from

Thanks to all for you help and advice, The following command allowed me get over my 'connection refused errors' ssh-keygen -f "/home/xxxYourUserHerexxx/.ssh/known_hosts" -R 192.168.1.37 However the offending SD card eventually died and has gone to SD heaven. I noticed my config file for the weather ...

Re: Config SSH from

Asandford & Swampdog (and others), Great insights and I hope to spend a bit of time at the weekend and play with this again. In order to get around immediate issue I did take the weather station off the air and cloned my SD with DD and got sorted. Loads of info to try out here and will report later ...

Re: Config SSH from

ok - what I would do is :- 1) take the cloned machine and atached a hd,mi screen and see what happens when it boots - login via the console and have a proper look. or take the hit on the weather station and plug the cloned card into that to see that it boots OK .... Rat... I was using this as an ex...

Re: Config SSH from

If you're trying to ssh in as root, later versions of raspbian need tweaking to allow this. edit the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file theres a line that reads : PermitRootLogin without-password change it to : PermitRootLogin yes Tried that no joy... You'll need to do it locally or in another machine.

I would be careful using code or downloading from Sourceforge.. Re: PiKrellCam on RPi 3 ?

My Rpi 3 is still on backorder, so I'm throwing the question out there: can anyone confirm if the RPi 3 allows PiKrellCam to run at 30 fps, instead of being limited to 24 fps? There are some applications where it would be nice if the frame rate synchronized with another camera I have, which runs at...

Re: Raspberry Pi doesn't save files after shutting down

I have Rasbian Wheezy installed on my Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and I've noticed that the last couple of times I've booted it up, it won't save any changes I've made. Any new documents, scripts I create are gone. Even changes I've made to existing files don't stay after I reboot and google hasn't been...
