Re: Raspberry Jam Nederland?

Hallo Paul,

Goed idee, ik ben zeker geïnteresseerd en wil zeker meewerken.
Er is een mogelijke prima locatie in Utrecht, ik zal eens vragen naar de mogelijkheden.
Misschien dat er vanuit de BigBen club ook interesse is?

Groet,
Arie

Starting servoblaster headless (solved)

Hello, I have written a Python script to rotate a R/C servo. In normal situation with HDMI screen active I can autostart the script with a line in rc.local . Servoblaster is used in usermode. But when I switch the screen off and then restart the Raspberry the script will autostart but servoblaster i...

Re: Raspbery Pi Forth Operating System

Hi Roland,

I compiled your code from git and everything runs fine i saw you repair the marker function.
The only thing I changed was the framebuffer file on Raspberry rev 2.

Thanks,
Arie

Re: Raspbery Pi Forth Operating System

you may be interested to know what this guy has done ( but I think its on top of linux ) http://thebeez.home.xs4all.nl/4tH/ Does it run on Raspberry Pi?? Roland aviatorRHK  Yes 4tH runs on Raspberry Pi, but you cannot access GPIO registers directly. The nice thing on your Forth is (for me)...

Re: Forth Operating System with Baking Pi roots.

Hi,

I made adjustments to the linker script and the framebuffer and compiled a new kernel.
There was also a problem with my keyboard, but now its working.
I can change the raspian kernel for the forth kernel and forth is running.
So I can play with a real Forth ;-).

Re: Forth Operating System with Baking Pi roots.

Hi Roland,

The baking pi tutorials i have successful followed until screen03.
I have formatted an SD-cart placed your file form rpiboot on it. Put that does not work.
I know will compile your code with the framebuffer adjustment as Dextor has suggested to night.

Re: Forth Operating System with Baking Pi roots.

Hi Roland, I have problem to start your Forth OS. On the standard Raspbian SD I have placed your files from rpiboot in the root. Only the red led is showing. No screen action. After reinserting the HDMI cable still no sign of live. If I replaced bootcode.bin with the Raspbian version. I see the gree...

Re: FORTH Language for RPi ?

Hello, I'am using Gforth with GPIO libraries which you can find here : https://github.com/harrypower/Rpi_Gforth_GPIO. It has also a assembler/disassembler for arm. The only trouble I have with the assembler and the Forth is you can only access the virtual memory, so you need the c-libraries for GPIO...

Re: Baking Pi screen01 - input validation

Hi, Gulak
Code: Select all
cmp r1,#15
movhi pc,lr
This code is correct. The lower 4 bits are used to store the channel.
Four bits is #15.
There are only 7 channels I don't no what the use is of the fourth bit.
