It be might be worth adding this tutorial to wiki, use this thread to get feedback extra tips and tricks.

As well as lighttpd I added nfs aiming to use pi as a personal dropbox

Re: Can I SSH into the device without any initial setup?

I would very much like to try to connect to my Arch Pi via ssh. How easy it is to log in via ssh? Do I need ip address of Pi?

Then I can get a small server running on it in no time

Re: udev fails after system upgrade

I had to force udev to install

Code: Select all

pacman -Sf udev
Before installing rest of updates

Re: Couple of questions

Very much looking forward to buying a Pi, but have a couple of questions.

Are hdmi to vga converters readily available? As I already have an old vga monitor I wish to use.

And will cases for Pi be made to allow units to be covered?

Re: Test

Have no problem getting my hands dirty in a terminal, did read that Arch Linux will run on Raspberry Pi. A bare install with SSH access will do all I need.

Sata connection would have helped but nothing that makes using it a deal breaker.

Cannot wait to get my hands on one

Re: Test

Hi,
Just wanted to ask if Raspberry Pi could be used a server in a similar way to pogoplug?
