Re: Wifi AP using TL-WN725N for Pi 1 512MB, B+, 2B or 3B

OK so in the end I have found a work-around for this which was NOT to update to the latest 4.4 kernel - it seems to break something fairly fundamental in WPA authentication. When I downgraded to 4.1.21 as you are using in this post it all started working again. Now works on a B+ and 3B with the v6 a...

Re: Wifi AP using TL-WN725N for Pi 1 512MB, B+, 2B or 3B

Hi there, I used to have the WN725N V2 working fine as an access point on my Pi 2B - but I now have to support the Pi 3 and in upgrading it has stopped working on both the 2B and the 3B. So I did a full update the latest Pi kernel and distribution. I'm running on Wheeezy as Jessie seems to auto expa...

Re: Getting WN725N V2 working as an access point

Started again from scratch and used these instructions for installing the driver

and that seemed to fix it.

Getting WN725N V2 working as an access point

I am trying to set y RPi up as an access point and the WN725N adaptor has been mentioned as a good one - but I cannot get it to work. I have the V2 of the WN725N so I followed these instructions to load the new driver: http://tech.enekochan.com/2013/05/29/tp-link-tl-wn725n-version-2-in-raspberry-pi/...

Re: digital photo frame to use with raspberry pi

Would a small LCD monitor be too big - I used some old 18" LCD monitors as photo frames as described here: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 64&t=30893

Motion sensitive photo frames

A while back I built some photo frames using old 18" LCD monitors and recently I decided to use Pis to drive these screens - you can find more info on how the screens look here - but I thought it might be useful to others to document how I did this. http://simoneast.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Si...
