Heya, thanks for the replies. As I said in an earlier post, there is no doubt that some webcams work on Pi, while some have problems. We may be playing a bit of semantics here, but I did want to point out and/or distinguish/reemphasize that both webcams (Microsoft LifeCam Studio 1080P and the Logite...

My goal: an inexpensive (relatively speaking), but higher quality stationary (no need for PTZ) "IP" web camera. (I.e. I didn't want a full sized computer next to the camera.)
