I am playing around with BBC Basic and it appears there is no SLEEP keyword. What (if any) is the best way to have a program sleep? Thanks.
Look at WAIT command.
Thanks for the reply. I had looked at the keywords on the BBC Basic page and did not see WAIT. But it does work.

sdl2 is installed by default on Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit
It may be, but the error is for libSDL2-2.0.so.0.

Re: Does BBC Basic Run On Raspberry Pi OC 64 Bit?

I should have mentioned that I followed the install instructions and I did the above and confirmed they did install. So, I guess the 32 bit won't run. Thanks for the reply.

Does BBC Basic Run On Raspberry Pi OC 64 Bit?

I'm trying to install BBC Basic on a Lite version of Raspberry Pi OS 64 bit, but I get an error loading libSDL2-2.0.so.0. I tried installing libSDL2-2.0.so.0, no such package. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Scrolling LED Type Display APP?

I found an app for Linux called led-scrolling-display https://snapcraft.io/led-scrolling-display that I like, but unfortunately there is no version that will run on an RPi. I tried searching Google, but I keep getting results for using an external LED Matrix. Anyone know of an app that displays on t...

Thanks for the reply. Your first suggestions has 32 pages of posts to look through. Asearch of that forum did not yeild any results. The second is booting to thr RPi to Basic not BBC Basic.

Re: I Can't Update Raspbian

What I find interesting is that on the RPi 400 I see the Microsoft respository in the list, but I do not see it on my RPi 4s. Am I really running the lastest OS?

I Can't Update Raspbian

I understand that if I run the following commands in Terminal: sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade It should update Raspbian. But I have done this several times and I still don't see the option to change the operation of the Power Led. What's odd, it's both my RPi 4's, but not my RPi 400. What ste...

Re: HOWTO: Install the GNOME Desktop Enviroment on Raspberry Pi OS lite (With new script)

Total Disaster! When I get to the gl-driver step I get a multitude of missing packages errors and if I try to install them they are not found. And yes, I am connected via ethernet cable and sudo apt update runs OK. This is not for a Linux beginner like me.

Re: Two Monitors One with Odd Resolution?

Well, I hope it's tough. :P I made a backup copy of my SD card and changed the HDMI settings for the 1366 X 768 monitor in /boot/config.txt and so far, everything is working as it should.

Re: Two Monitors One with Odd Resolution?

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure about trying this, since it's one setting, but two different monitor resolutions. I'm not sure how this setting would affect the RPi 7" monitor.

I would like to purchase another 10" monitor, but I want to avoid getting another one with a resolution of 1366X768. Would someone like to make a recommendation?

Two Monitors One with Odd Resolution?

I have an RPi 4 in a case with the 7" Raspberry Pi Tough Screen. I have a spare 10" with the dreaded 1366x768 resolution. If I connect the 10" to the RPi it crashes or freezes. Is there anyway I can use this monitor in two monitor configuration? Or is it a lost cause?

Thanks.

I have searched for an answer to my problem, but the results vary and are very confusing. I have an RPi 4 with the 7 inch touchscreen and when I open raspi-config in a terminal the displayed windows are too big for the screen and I am unable to drag them far enough to see the options at the bottom o...

Thank you, I did not realize this. I just did "which python3" in terminal and confirmed. Now my question is what IDE on the RPi uses Python3.
