Ip Forwarding et NAT est la solution. the ewelink app is closed ...
You'll have to install an alternative firmware on your sonoff and then use MQTT (or something else) to communicate with your AIY kit

In fact, Pixel is optimized for the Pi. So it might well be the best choice ...

I think you DON'T want the Pi Zero to be in slave mode.
You want it to be in host mode as is the Pi3

You could also use the pi as a router/accesspoint and block forwarding when you wish :-)

If you have set up a dhcp server on your Pi, you can find a table linking Mac Address to IP Addres.
with DnsMasq, the file is in /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases

You will always start in the same state (the system will forget any change that has been done since last boot)

you can connect remotely and shutdown the PC.
- on linux, ssh + sudo shutdown -h now
- on windows, the big G is your friend ;-)

You can use content but you should prepend screen to your line. Screen allows you to keep an opened terminal in the background. Screen should be installed first.
