Re: use the pi as voip

As stated in a previous answer to this thread, the pi doesn't have a sound input or microphone.
You either need to connect via bluetooth or use an USB audio card

Re: Wireless display

Why don't you want to use Wifi ?
I think it would be the easiest way.
you could have a pi that get the values from the sensors and another one that would display those values.
a 1 millisecond interval is not feasible anyhow.

Tu ne peux pas installer de paquet X86 sur un Pi ... le processeur est de type Arm
You can't install x86 package on the pi. It is based on Arm processor.
Are you sure you need this on a pi ?

Re: Using NFC + Pi to unlock Systemscreen

Hi, This is an interesting project. I suppose you only want to block interaction with the screen and not really "lock" the screen, You want everyone to still be able to read what's on the screen. You have 2 possibilities for this: 1/ block it at a software level 2/ block it at a hardware level If at...

Re: Audio Project

Sorry but there is no such thing as a 2T micro SD Card. You could use a 2.5 Hard Drive (or even SSD), that would not need a separate power, you'll only have to get a *good* power source for the Pi You could also use mpd as a back end for your audio, there are a few python client libraries that can h...

Re: Check network on boot via rc.local

your while loop does nothing here as I suppose that sleep sets the default return code ($?) to 0 ...
if you want to wait for the network put the ping in the loop.
But as was said, the network is not up yet in rc.local and you should look into SystemD

Re: get Date/time from Browser Client

if seconds is a delay that you can accept (which I suppose), then you'll have to write a bit of PHP on the server(pi) to receive the date that you would send via your browser (some HTML, Javascript is needed there) wia a button or an automatic request. on the PHP side, changing the time on the pi is...

Re: Crontab Issue with Paho MQTT

Usually, the problem is that the network is not completely up and running when you script executes.
The easiest way around I've found is to add a sleep for a few seconds before connecting to the MQTT server (I know it's not "nice" nut it works)
