Raspberry Pi Shutdown board?

Hi,

I am looking for a cheap shutdown board for the raspberry pi. For use in a car for example, So when the ignition is turned off then the PI Shuts down gracefully.

I can't seem to find one anywhere but perhaps i'm searching for the wrong terms!

Thanks

Yes I did, I actually did this in the middle of the two thinking about it. Oh dear, is there a solution?

Connecting two GPIO pins together?

Hi,

Is it possible to detect if two GPIO pins have been basically linked together or would this short something out?

I was hoping to work the opposite and have a relay that is switched externally and tell the PI it has been switched??

Thanks!

Re: Keep python script running?

I tried creating another script that does "sudo python temper.py" but it still does the same result? ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: piTemp ...

Keep python script running?

Hi,

When executing my python script it seems to pause or something when I close down Putty and stops running properly.

How can I execute this so it continues to run?

Thanks

Re: HDMI-VGA Adapter with chip GBP 12, free shipping

http://www.kanexlive.com/atvpro  has just been announced.  It is targeted at the Apple TV but should work with the RPi. Handles audio also at just $59.  I'm thinking it may be a good fit for giving presentations/training at locations where you don't know if the venue will support HDMI.  This plus a...

GPS + Google Maps

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any information on how I can hook up a GPS to the Pi, get coordinates and map this on a google map or some kind of service that can be accessed remotely?

Its project I am working on and currently!
