There is lot of back and forth here ... Did anybody from the Foundation look into this? I mean whether they want to invest time into researching the possibility of directly doing that or supporting external dev? I'll ask Eben/Liz when I next see them, but there are many more important things to do ...

this is an extremely interesting topic... there are a huge number of applications of being able to capture either S-VIDEO,COMPOSITE and optimally HDMI directly with the Raspberry PI. In our company alone there are a number of PC based devices which would become directly replacable. Also just generat...
