i had this issue before and i found a really helpful thread that showed you how to fix it using systems tools problem is i cant remember what i did and i cant find the thread. please post a link to it or tell me how to fix it please!

best framebuffer for a 7 inch TFT?

im running a frame buffer width of 700 and frame buffer height of 300.
The height of the tft is 3.5 inches and is 6.5 iches wide if you measure its perimeter. Anyways is this an optimal setup or could it use a tweak?

Also watch out for the current drawn by the display. When connected to a car battery, the display can draw many amps without a problem. However if you use an AC adapter, make sure that it can supply the necessary current at the required voltage or will possibly damage the adapter and certainly not ...

What DC voltage does it run at? I'm guessing it's 12V since you said run it off a cigarette lighter. Did it come with the power adapter or was it just the screen? yeah its 12 volt and the for power it just has a wire possative negative and ground no plugs other than what looks like a ps2 port (it p...

There are of course power supplies for at home too. The PS2 I find a bit strage, if that´s really the case. It looks like a round DC plug in the picture. My suggestions: 1. nokia n900 lcd for pi

I am on the fringe to buy this lcd but i just want to clarify something. Will the screen just plug into the dsi port and when i turn the pi on the lcd begins to run? it seems its not that simple.

quake3 should automatically run full screen in a text console (not X or via ssh). How would you even see a small black window on a black screen, unless it blotted out some existing text? If you get it to run, but do not hear sounds, try using sudo. wait i just run quake 3 by excuting the .arm file ...

when i go to launch quake3.arm is get this very small black box any my cursor becomes a small square and to exit quake (i think its quake 3 window) i must restart my pi. any fixes i followed the tutorial on rasbian.org
