have a great weekend."

Yes, that's a good idea, especially considering your samples are relatively small.

"...I would prefer to use aplay instead since it loading time is faster than omxplaer..." Note my comment, "Your samples play fine in *alsaplayer* (www.alsaplayer.org) & omxplayer", NOT aplay. Re: need help: aplay to usb headphones

Your samples play fine in alsaplayer & omxplayer. Presumably you have pavucontrol installed, as you're using pulseaudio? If not, install it. I don't have usb headphones, but several usb audio "cards", a couple of which I used for testing this. Even if you have only USB phones in a Pi0, (raspbian) Bu...

As they're so short, can you zip up & attach a couple of the samples?

Hi All ... it will not play LBC Radio https://www.globalplayer.com/live/lbc/uk/ as it has in the past. Anything to do with Chromium? Any ideas? The only reason I mentioned it was because I *did* unmount the disc as I normally do, before issuing the relevant commands.

However 2 disc icons appeared back.

Also note the spelling error in the window message.

"who gives a pony about dual display"

I, along with several other RPi users I know, have used dual displays on RPi's since RPI2, for the last 5 years or so. It's a very useful feature for many situations, including education, especially when one of those displays can be a cheap vga screen.

Thanks to this post from ShiftPlusOne:

The big upgrade he links to has fixed this particular problem, along with the associated artifacts on dragging to open a window.

Re: scrot -s on Raspberry pi 4 doesn't work well

LaginaPi's observation on a Pi4 is correct, as shown in the attached picture. Dragging windows around on Pi4 results in artifacts around the origin, similar to RPi1 window dragging. With successive Rpi-updates, it has improved somewhat, but is still evident, along with several % increase in cpu usag...
