Hi jyskim, could you please share how you did it? I am looking for exactly that and it seems you found the answer. Thanks in advance! I actually spent some time trying to figure out how to do that and came to a solution. I posted it here: http://openelec.tv/forum/65-storage/83111-auto-mount-externa...

I tried to get it running on Pi 3 B+. I use Stretch 2018-06-27. Error massage in debug mode: something like ttyS0 already in use maybe my project " RPi-GPS-PPS-StratumOne " is also of interest to you. it installs gpsd + chrony and should turn off bluetooth (the reason why serial port is busy) and e...

do you really need to compile ntpd ? i was using the one o the stretch packaging and it was working with PPS out of the box. (the package of Jessie and Wheezy i had to compile by myself to get PPS working) but because of the high requirements of ntpd to get ntp working without internetconnection i s...

Its not for any "antenna connector", that is just wishful thinking (and illegal to do to boot).
does it mean the solder-pads on RPi3B and RPi0w are only "test-pads" as well?
if not, how could the developer forget suche solder-pads on the RPi3B+ ?

solder-pads on RPi3B+ for external antenna, is it for SMA connector ?

hi, i don't have a RPi3B+ yet, but on pictures, i saw that the solder-pads for an optional external antenna on the RPi3B+ are different than as on the RPi3B or RPi0w. it seems the old solder-pads were made for an UMC connector . i am wondering if the solder-pads on the new RPi3B+ were made for an SM...

check the sha256 sum and compare it with that from the web page.

Code: Select all

if the sum is not correct, then your download is corrupt.

Yeah I originally mislabelled the 4.2 boot partition and I thought I'd done the same again but apparently not. So I was trying to investigate. It should not matter what the partition name was so I think it picked up the old file for the new version. Did you originally install v4.2 from the internet...
