Re: Rainfall Sampling

Mmh.... what about buckets? I mean for rainfall Model JDZ05-1A there is 1 tip per 0.5mm of rain. Let's say bucket capacity is 100 drops. 0.1mm of rain is not a tip, so let's say I have 0.1mm in the morning, then 0.3mm in the afternoon, then 0.1mm during the night: this means I read 0.5mm of rain dur...

My first doubt is: which software? I would like webpage to see current data (daily rain, last hour rain, and so o...

If using raspbian have you tried using the SD card copier in the menus? How do this into headless mode? I have same problem, I followed this steps: insert SD cart into SD card reader under Ubuntu PC cd /media/user/boot sudo tar -cvjSf ~/boot.tar.bz2 . cd /media/user/rootfs sudo tar -cvjSf ~/rootfs....

External ACT led?

Hi to all users. I made an enclosure for IO board and I need to use an external LED for ACT. On CM IO board ACT led is driven by GPIO47, not available on J5,J6 connectors. I would like to avoid to solder wires on CM IO board. Is there available any solution? I used: dtoverlay=act_led_gpio=15 on conf...

Re: Other projects: subcategories?

Why ? Why ? Why ? Why? Why not! In my opnion "Other projects" is too much generic, subcategories could make forum more efficient. In this small green, wet, flat island we don't get seismology events [...] Not all Raspberry users live in "this small green, wet, flat island" and no seismology events ...

Re: RTC time off by 0.5 seconds?

Sorry but I can't still understand..... We said there is no bug on DS3231. Right, I tested it with GPS: I read time from GPS, I increased time by 1 second, then I wrote time on DS3231 on riding PPS edge. Then compared time between GPS and RTC, all through PIC microcontroller. Time was always correct...

Hi treijan,
