Re: PS2 Emulator On The Pi2?

Hardware requirements probably wasn't the only thing that was stopping PS2 emulation happening on the first Pi. Providing there is a ARM port of a PS2 emulator to begin with. I still believe the Raspberry Pi 2 is still far off from emulating PS2 games at a playable games. From the videos I've seen a...

Re: New Website

Actually, when I say them, I think most of the work was done by one person. I thought as much, hence why I was offering to help out. Excluding mobile users aren't the only problem with the new redesign. There is a lot of issues with the website that needed to be sorted out before going live. Was th...

Re: New Website

Apologies if I'm coming across as rude. (I assume that post is pointed at me due to response regarding mobiles). Working in the Web industry myself, I get really frustrated by redesigns that might look good on the eyes of a casual user but are a step back or two on functionality. Mobile design shoul...

http://i.imgur.com/leJddD5.png This is embarrassing... No site that has gone live should have a page speed below around 90/100. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.raspberrypi.org%2F&[*]charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 (Can't seem to use the BBcode for URLs.....

Re: New Website

Fantastic design but, unfortunately, it's horribly implemented. Not even responsive? In 2014!?! That's a bit of a step back as the other site was. Is the design open source? Would love to fix it up for you and give it a Bootstrap port. :) Edit: Ah this is really frustrating. The design is such a ste...

Re: KitKat Pi?

Since when was the issue of Android on the Pi a memory limitation? The reason why Android is an issue on the Pi is because of Broadcom's proprietary hardware... Kitkat doesn't change a thing and Google's statement about lower memory requirement was for OEMs who were still shipping new devices runnin...

Odd PS3 Controller behavior?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but, I have two PS3 controllers that I want to use, via usb, when using RetroPie. When I go through the steps via retroarch-joyconfig which asks me to input a button to map sometimes it says that I have used the Anologue stick such as: Joyaxis moved: Axis 1...

Re: Simon's accelerated X development thread

Thank you so much for this fantastic work!

Absolutely amazing! People who got a RasPi for Christmas, like myself, to use as a cheap ARM device have arrived at the best time!

Re: CyanogenMOD Ginger overclock and low resolution...

The reason why Android runs slow isn't due to a weak processor, but actually because there is no hardware acceleration which Android relies on heavily. We need Broadcom to hurry up and release drivers for the Pi's GPU to support hardware acceleration, I believe.

Re: Problems with Hotmail on Midori

This seems to be a Midori related issue rather than Raspbian or the Raspberry Pi itself as it occurs regardless of the platform, Midori is running from. Unfortunately, it's been reported several times even much older versions of Midori yet no solution has been made. Until this has been fixed you can...
