Re: More RPi Crashes

That is the only difference. I am using the same power supply rated to 2 amps. I did test the pi with no Ethernet and it still crashed. I then proceeded to plug an hdmi cable in to see if the display output would give any clues. It crashed after 5 min and poof, the screen lost power output. I tried ...

So I set up my raspberry pi about a month and a half ago at my school. It worked fine for a while but then started crashing unexpectedly. When I came back for christmas break, I took it with me to debug the issue. When I reinstalled the OS the crashing stopped. I remember leaving it running for more...

Re: Raspbian Crashes

Update: My raspberry pi lasted through the night without crashing but it has no software (no apache2, no svn) on it. I compared the logs from before I reinstalled os to after and they look the same. Re: Raspbian Crashes

Yes, I am using a Xentris charger that supports up to 2A. When it crashes, only the red power LED remains on. All the other lights are off. Below is the link to the charger. http://www.amazon.com/Xentris-2-Amp-Micro-USB-Travel-Charger/dp/B005AWO8V0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356936392&sr=8-1&keywords=2...

Raspbian Crashes

Hey all, I have been experiencing periodic crashes on my new rapsberry pi. As I am trying to use this devise as a server, I would like avoid resetting the power once every day or so. What are some things (like programs) that affect the stability of the OS? The packages I have installed are ssh, the ...
