Re: Having problems with what should be really simple tasks.

I am not keying in commands, (...can't make head or tale of them), I am using the Raspbian desktop. An example of what I am trying to do is install TTF fonts I have stored on the pen-drive to the /usr/local/share/fonts folder. On my other Pi, (also Raspbian but not installed using NOOBS), I can simp...

Having problems with what should be really simple tasks...

I wasn't sure where to post this but I am having trouble getting replies to my posts these days. My latest RPi was installed using NOOBS and I am having problems with the simplest tasks which I could perform on my previous Pi and can't seem to find any solutions. Re: (Audio) Worried something might have gone horribly wrong

Can I just check, frogb, are you using the headphone jack for the sound? I forgot to update that I still have this problem when I use the headphone jack but, as it turns out, the sound is fine if I use the HDMI output for sound. I am going on the theory that with the headphone jack, being analogue a...

(Audio) Worried something might have gone horribly wrong...

I was playing the game Storm In A Teacup after using the FUSE (ZX Spectrum emulator). The sound was a tad "crunchy" but nothing too severe.. as if the Pi was having trouble running the game at the correct speed. I stopped the game and rebooted the Pi and tried again but this time the music went nuts...

Re: Pi volume control

I have the same question.
I've searched everywhere for a volume control and can't find one.
Also tried the keys above to no avail. :/
Can anyone help please?
