Forward mouse and keyboard input from laptop to RPi

Hi, all. I want to use my RPi with a TV, and so I naturally have to think about some kind of a remote. I don't want to occupy USB port with a keyboard, so I was wondering - can I use my laptop to control RPi? Is there a trick/utility for that? My laptop is running Mac OS X, the RPi is running Raspbi...

Unfortunately, it's not running stock firmware, it's running a slightly modified flavour of it. So called Oleg's firmware

bgreat , thanks for your help! However, it didn't work. I did everything. 3322 is still closed. $ ssh -p 3322 [email protected] ssh: connect to host XXX port 3322: Connection refused And I tried nmapping (it's all being done from a remote shell, not from the local network): $ nmap -p 3322 XXX Starting Nmap 5....
