Re: OMXPlayer version in old Raspbian version

Of course. There isn't a single culprit I'm afraid. OMXPlayer often goes to 90%, but on average it's about 40% of CPU load. I plotted a week's worth of top 's, here's the result: http://imgur.com/dlwThWM . As mentioned, this didn't happen in November. I installed all the binaries in sconde's OMXPlay...

OMXPlayer version in old Raspbian version

Hi, Does anyone know the version of OMXPlayer residing in the old Raspbian image dated from 2013-09-25? After a week of uptime, my Raspberry Pi is crashing under a huge load average and this did not happen in the older versions of my script (which used the old OMXPlayer). Basically, I went from a mo...

Re: Accelerated X driver testing

Just to confirm: are you running Xorg in a window (SSH?) that you can always see the output of? Yup. Looking at your log all looks good. See all the FBDEV_RPI messages? That's me. (...) I'll be providing an update to the two bugs within a matter of days Awesome :) thanks If you have the ability to ...

Re: Accelerated X driver testing

Hi, First of all, great work! I'd love to help out. I've installed the driver (VideoCore support included) and everything worked fine right out of the box. As far as I can tell, things seem faster but I'd love to know if this is just some kind of Xorg placebo effect, given that when I drag file mana...

Re: omxplayer, now with added gui

Great work!

I don't suppose there's a way to smoothen the transitions between each video of a playlist, is there ? :/

Re: Omxplayer to play a list of files sans GUI

AFAIK omxplayer is the only player that can take advantage of the GPU and, in my particular case, I've got some heavy-duty 1080p videos to play... :(

Re: Python interface for omxplayer now working (I hope)

Going a bit off-topic here, but did anyone ran into trouble when installing jbaiter's pyomxplayer? I am using Occidentalis v0.2. Having installed the pexpect module, I followed the author's instructions and this is what i got: pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo git clone https://github.com/jbaiter/pyomxplayer....
