Re: Connecting Wordpress to GPIO

I have done wordpress and built templates but that was a few years ago in a different life. I would look for a Wordpress plugin that will allow you to pull MYSQL fields into a post and then write the C code to insert the data into the fields.

Re: Minecraft server - How To

So I did two more things and unfortunately I did them both at the same time. The first thing I did was upgrade from a class 4 SD Card to a class 8 SD Card. It seemed to boot faster but no scientific data to back that up. My thinking was that it was using the card for cache and building out the world...

Re: Pi not recognising Ethernet plug

Redo your image. Something is not correct in your system.

Try:

Code: Select all

dmesg | grep eth
See if a ethernet adapter shows up. If so then you have software problems and a re-image of the SD card will fix it.

A quick tutorial on this would be awesome. It is actually what I was looking for. I was thinking wordpress but worried about the mysql overhead.

Big Problem Please HELP!

I ordered two Pies (Is that the plural?) before Christmas and now I have just ordered two more. I think I have a problem and will need some help with my addiction to these darn things. They are just so much fun and I have tons of ideas on how to use them.... So far: One is a minecraft server for my ...

Re: RPi SD Image Hosting?

+1 to this... The App store is great for education but we need an appliance store for people to host their images or at least link their Image Files. The ease and low cost of the SD cards allows me to have multiple image builds stored away, this has never been possible at a consumer level before. I ...

Sticky Threads

It would be nice to have sticky threads at the beginning of each of the projects forums and have the forum admin add projects to it with links to the threads. Their are so many good ideas getting lost now that the forums are taking off and a lot of them are getting repeated. Might even consider crea...

Re: Mac download of RPi Os

Go into Lauchpad and find Terminal.

cd Downloads
sudo umount /dev/disk2s1
sudo dd if:2012-12-16-wheezy-raspbian.img of=/dev/disk2 bs=1m

It takes about 10-15 minutes for it to create the img to the SD card.

Next question and this could be a noob question.

I have the LMS running and the squeezeplayer loaded also. The music seems to be playing but I am not getting any sound. I loaded the squeezerplayer locally on my MacOSx and it does the same thing.

Re: SqueezePlug Version 5 ready for download

The download is very slow and unstable for me. I have been trying for several hours. I have gotten as much as 200MB before it fails. Does anyone have a torrent seed?

I am rather excited by the work done on this project after watching the great video.
