Re: Break out board (GPIO, SPI, I2C, and UART)

<t>Nice project! Great idea and something the RaspPi definitely needs!<br/> <br/> Maybe bring out V+ and GND to the breakout board too? Might make a nice point to hook up servos or sensors to.<br/> <br/> I2C for NXT sensors would be awesome but that is because I already own the NXT and the sensors =...

<t>Roger that. KISS right?<br/> <br/> As soon as I can get my hands on a RaspberryPi I will go through the performance profiling and optimizations to make it as fast and efficient of a program as possible.<br/> <br/> Thanks for the votes of confidence guys!! Oh yes, that image you link to me way huge!! It filled up most of my screen so I definitely have to scale that down, while keeping the transparent background =D

Re: RPi Becoming more Influential over the OS World...

<t>Soul_Est,<br/> Love your ideas!! So from all of the projects you have mentioned I\'m thinking a 32-bit ARM barebones OS with some C(to link in the proprietary GPU code and anything else we need), with CLI.<br/> It will need to conform to some POSIX standards but it by no means needs to completely...

Re: An OS for the R-Pi created completely in assembly

Hey guys,

Love the ideas but how are you planning on incorporating the GPU "blob" and it's libraries. They aren't open source so all you have are the binaries. And as far as I know they are still working on getting the developers(us) access to it's API.
