NOOBs 1.9 No LXDE desktop after boot

Never had a problem before booting Raspbian on a Pi2, but am mystified why, having installed Raspbian Jessie and RISC OS from NOOBS 1.9, RISC OS boots okay, while Raspbian goes through entire boot sequence but at the end fails to open the standard desktop. Re: Enigma Simulator

stoooo: Could I suggest emailing [email protected] and/or [email protected] with a query as to whether Paul Reuvers could be persuaded to look at the issue of running his RISC OS Enigma emulation (which is, indeed, extremely good) on an RPi2?

Re: Out Now! Drag 'N Drop Vol.6 No.2

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Thanks to Jim Manley for his advice, though I'm being a bit slow at following it up owing to the demands of garden sunshine and Wimbledon. And now there's a trip to Scotland to delay further work, but ... I vill be back!

Re: I made a Raspberry PI Laptop

Oh woe. Newly arrived: Lapdock, Pi model B rev 2 and cables. All worked first time with newly loaded NOOBS SD cards and without any changes in, for example, config.txt parameters, BUT now the Pi's HDMI output doesn't work either to the Lapdock or indeed to the ordinary monitor which I use with my Pi...

Pi Crust breakout board design

Just seen this in ArsTechnica: http://arstechnica.com/business/2012/10/pi-crust-breakout-board-makes-it-easy-to-get-peripherals-on-raspberry-pi/ which directs you to: http://picru.st/ This Pi Crust is a breakout board and not to be confused with the Pi Crust covered elsewhere which is a case. Should...
