Re: Raspberry Pi to Arduino communication

I use Arduino for all my projects, and am just now getting into RPi. try this link to the arduino forums (they have helped me many times) and this particular thread mentioned your error code /home/laurent/Desktop/arduino-1.0/hardware/arduino/cores/arduino/Print.cpp:44:9: error: 'prog_char' does not ...

Here are some other threads on this site explaining the polyfuse and power issues. Re: The piPhone

I was looking around for a good screen ( I was hoping to find a touchscreen) and it looks like a lot of people are having issues getting screens to work with Raspberry Pi without going through a lot of hardware mods or developing drivers for the OS. This guy had a great vid and it turns out he has h...

you said "added new printer" what was the new printer model? Or did you mean you just re-installed the 1102w?

Re: The piPhone

I don't think a flat battery would be a huge deal. Most "extra life" battery chargers for phones are coming pretty slim these days as they're designed for taking on the go. And the majority of them will be 700mah or higher at 5v so it's just right to power the Pi for a quick call. I guess it would b...

Re: Rochester, NY Group?

I'm Vermont Based, but it would be cool to get a big hackerspace/ workshop together in the north for this, arduino, and whatever other projects people are alone on. Make a big group event for everyone to share their DIY Tech.

Re: Business scenario

Not just a good Business scenario, but you could apply this to schools, library, you could make a whole town's worth of "resource" buildings based on this device. Especially in the instance of 3rd world or underdeveloped as you mentioned. I think that's what the founders of this project intended wh...
