Re: Wargames on the Pi

<t>Just this past week, Stripe hosted a "capture the flag" hacking challenge. The goal was to look through the source code and disassemblies of flawed programs and exploit the flaws to get the password to the next level. I had a lot of fun doing it, and I thought it might be fun to host an R.Pi remi...

Re: Putting the kernel on a diet

<t>Please excuse me if I'm way off in the following post; I don't know much about kernel development.<br/> <br/> I was looking through the GitHub source earlier, and I saw a lot of folders/files related to other chip architectures. Would it be beneficial to a) build time or b) run time to cut out wh...

I don\'t think using it off batteries and wifi in a public place (library/cafeteria) would be easily traceable. In all seriousness though I don\'t think I will. I wouldn\'t want IPs in the university blocked from wikipedia...

If you\'re not an exit node would you still get banned from anywhere with a moderator?<br/> <br/> I\'ll look into my university policies.<br/> <br/> EDIT: Not allowed. They prohibit any form of server on the network, for things like IRC and games. I\'m sure Tor wou...

Re: Raspberry Pi and Tor Project

<t>I downloaded Tor today to play around with it (and in anticipation of SOPA?). It\'s a very interesting idea, and apparently it has been very useful in the Arab spring movement.<br/> <br/> I got to thinking that I should support the Tor project by helping them expand their network. Re: Performance

<t>Well, yes. The Pi has a less technically advanced core than the iPhone. That\'s what you get for $25.<br/> <br/> None of these are really brute force statistics. Extensions = polish, and the rest are just because the Pi displays at a greater resolution than the iPhone. What you really want to see...

It has been said to have roughly the GPU performance of a first generation XBox. It has been shown to run Quake III at full HD. (It is the most interesting computing platform in the world...)

I looks as though it\'s fairly easy for an organization to apply, but I\'ve never applied as an organization so I wouldn\'t know.

Definitely in for a t-shirt just for the logo design alone.
