Never used PSPdisp, but I used portable vnc viewer (PSP) and a vnc server (Ubuntu-PC). Connection over WLAN router works. Ad-hoc-WLAN is not possible because the PSP compresses the data flow (no documentation).

Never tried USB connection.

I am sure that the final version of the official "RaspberryLinux"-distribution will have a working packet manager. You will be able to uninstall unwanted packages.

A portable travel TV?
I have a ROADSTAR LCD-2500/S PORTABLE TRAVEL TV 2.5\" LCD AV IN. Connected my Playstation2 via composite. Screen is ok, mono sound. Built-in battery charger (4xAAA). You could connect it to car battery. Paid 28,80€.

It's actually something we liked about the logo - imposing a face on it isn't necessarily a way we're planning to go with it, but it may be something we consider for very young kids.
