Re: mmap() fails

There was a bug in earlier RPi4 userland libraries. According to RPI documentation (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/peripheral_addresses.md) while obtaining peripherials base You should use bcm_host_get_peripheral_address() function. This function examines device tree ...

Re: How to install/ build/ play Quake 3....

Didn't work for me on RPi 2 (Raspbian version: March 2016). After executing "./ioquake3.arm" computer freezes. Works on RPi1 B/A+.

Everything seems to be working with Raspbian image from September 2015 (tested on RPi2 and RPi1 B/A).

Could someone confirm? Maybe mine RPi2 is damaged.

The trick was to make fheroes2 project compilation on the pi itself, and still to play you need to original game data. The game was released with windows and dos version simultaneously, so dos versio...

Re: ARM peripherals access from QPU - is it possible?

Forgot to mention I'm already using VPM in order to read/write data from/to memory. I've also tried texture lookup performing load operations, but with no success (it works perfectly when reading from memory, but not from controll registers). EDIT: I didn't notice you mentioned VPU, not VPM unit, so...

ARM peripherals access from QPU - is it possible?

Hi there, I'm trying to write simple application, based on mailboxes, which would use QPU proccessor as real-time signal generator. So far I managed to make some code for QPU in assembler which loads, manipulates and saves the data from and to RAM. It work's pretty well, but when I'm trying to use p...

how determine raspian version (sf/hf)

Is there a simple way to find out if I'm running soft-float or hard-float version of wheezy?
