Re: I2C bus - anyone planning to use it?

Hi ok I'm really stumped on this one I'm sure I'm missing something simple but I'm pretty new to java and classpaths and how to lay out the structure of the folders to make this work. I have the files downloaded from the zip file above, I have the jna installed and have been able to use the command ...

Re: I2C with Java?

I would also love to get this working. I've got things running ok in python and I managed to get the rxtx libraries working on java I think but the basic listAllPorts() demo code they supply lists nothing so I can only guess <wild speculation>that the libraries cant find the Rpis hardware. </wild sp...

Re: Intermittent network problems (Debian 13-04)

At further risk of dragging this off topic. I'm really enjoying it. in 2 days I've learned more about the electronics that power the hardware I use every day and take for granted. Which ultimately is what the pi is about. Teaching people actually how computers work not just how to use them.

Re: Intermittent network problems (Debian 13-04)

<t>Indeed it was, managed to find a far more basic keyboard and that got it working as best as I could see although I did notice when testing it with a very basic novatech branded keyboard I had at work that I got some huge dumps of hex data scrolling across the screen when booting ant it wouldnt ge...

Re: Debian Admin Password

<t>As far as im aware there isnt one (anyone feel free to correct me)<br/> <br/> It is however very easy to make one. <t>also just tried again now it seems to be just repeating the line<br/> <br/> smsc95xx 1-1.1:1.0: eth0: kevent 4 may have been dropped<br/> <br/> I'm guessing its just spamming that message as I got a page of them and a flashing line of it at the bottom before the terminal window cleared itself and...
